Tottenham vs Everton Preview & Prediction
Sean Dyche’s in-form Everton head down to the English capital on Saturday to take on the high-flying Tottenham, with the Merseyside-based outfit coming into the tie off the back of a disappointing Carabao Cup exit in midweek.
The Toffees exited the cup after losing to Fulham in a penalty shootout, marking the end of their four game winning streak. Regardless of that, they are still in excellent form in the Premier League having suffered just one defeat in their last eight matches, with their most recent triumph coming in the form of a 2-0 win over Burnley.
This strong run of form sees Everton sit a healthy seven points clear of the relegation zone in 16th despite being deducted 10-points, while Spurs’ recent turnaround in form sees them occupy fifth place – just a point behind reigning treble-winners Manchester City.
Tottenham ended October at the top of the English top flight table without a defeat to their name, but after a shocking run of five matches without a victory between November and the start of December – they fell out of the top four, and now find themselves six points adrift of leaders Arsenal.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have turned his side’s fortunes around as of late though, as they come into this one off the back of two successive league victories thanks to 4-1 and 2-0 triumphs over Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
We at SportsLens predict a tightly-contested battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, but are backing the hosts to narrowly edge the tie with plenty of goals to keep fans entertained throughout
Prediction: Tottenham 3-2 Everton

Tottenham vs Everton Betting Tips
- Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals @ 3/4
- Richarlison To Score Anytime @ 21/10
- Combined Bet Builder Odds @ 7/2
Tottenham vs Everton Betting Tip 1: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals @ 3/4
Our first tip for your Saturday afternoon Tottenham vs Everton Premier League bet builder is to back both teams to score and for over 2.5 goals to be scored throughout the match, priced by leading UK betting sites at 3/4.
This exact feat has been achieved in seven of Spurs’ last eight Premier League matches, and whilst Everton have kept a clean sheet in their last four league matches – we don’t expect them to do so against the league’s fifth highest scoring team this weekend.
As well, there have been plenty of goals across their previous meetings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and this is why we are backing over 2.5 goals to be scored in this one. Across their five clashes at the ground – 13 goals have been scored by the pair, which is an average of 2.6 per game.
Tottenham vs Everton Betting Tip 2: Richarlison To Score Anytime @ 21/10
Ex-Everton frontman Richarlison is in excellent form at the minute, boasting three goals from his last two appearances in the top flight – more than what he had in his first 39 games for Spurs (2).
His return to full fitness has seen club captain Heung-min Son move back out to his favoured left-wing, a move that has paid dividends for Postecoglou’s side who have won both matches since the change has been made.
Priced by leading UK bookmakers at 21/10, you can back Richarlison to continue his strong goalscoring form by scoring at anytime against his former club on Saturday – which would see him become the first player to do so in the competition since Josh King in October 2021.
