A video on social media has emerged from Monday night’s fiery clash between Chelsea and Tottenham that could land Raheem Sterling in hot water and could even get the England man banned.
The Premier League game on Monday was thrilling from start to finish. Chelsea ended up winning the match 4-1 but it was the crazy action in the first half that fans will remember this match for.

With lots of talking points caught live on Sky Sports, a new video has emerged that might end up with Sterling banned.
The video is filmed after Chelsea young man, Cole Palmer, slotted home a penalty. The crowd were already heated after Cristian Romero had been sent off committing a foul for the penalty. An object is thrown towards the celebrating players and it looks like Sterling picks it up and fires it back into the crowd.

It’s not clear what the object is, but the FA might end up investigating the incident. If they do decide to investigate, they might decide to ban Sterling despite on field and VAR officials missing the incident.
How Likely Is It We’ll See Sterling Banned?
It would be up to the FA if they decide to investigate the incident. There has been incidents in the past where players have been banned for throwing items into the crowd.
Tottenham forward Richarlison was suspended for one match for throwing a lit flare back into the crowd after scoring for Everton against Chelsea in May 2022.
Didier Drogba also had to sit out three matches in 2008 after throwing a coin at Burnley supporters following a EFL Cup loss.
We’ll have to wait to see if Sterling is penalised for the video. In the meantime he’s left asking why he wasn’t part of the England squad.
