PSV vs Lens Prediction
Going into the match, Lens sit second in the group with five points to their name, while the hosts are placed bottom, having failed to win any of their three games so far.
The sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture, with Johan Bakayoko and Elye Wahi scoring for their respective teams.
PSV have dominated the Eredivisie this season, winning all eleven of their league games, scoring a staggering 41 goals, and conceding just five. However, their European struggles continue, going 17 Champions League matches without a win.
Lens, initially seen as the outsiders of the group, are the only Group H team yet to lose, with two draws and a win. The French side have been solid defensively, keeping three clean sheets in four games, and haven’t conceded more than one goal in 90 minutes since September 2.
The contrast in play styles alone makes this an interesting watch.

History is against Lens here, as the club have never managed to beat an Eredivisie side away from home. This, combined with the fact that PSV have only lost one match across all competitions this season, makes PSV favourites.
While the away team does have a commendable defensive record, they face a PSV side that is in devastating goalscoring form. Plus, Lens have only found the net more than once in four games this season.
Lens should regain some of their attacking bite here though, with Wahi and Adrien Thomasson likely to be recalled to the lineup after missing the 0-0 draw with Lorient on the weekend.
