The Premier League is back after another international break, and there are several key battles in gameweek nine as eight fixtures take place starting at 12:30 today (Saturday, 21st October), including the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield.

Saturday’s early kick-off sees bitter rivals Liverpool and Everton face off in the Merseyside derby at Anfield. The Reds will be looking to get back to winning ways after being pegged back by Brighton prior to the international window where they drew 2-2, meanwhile Sean Dyche’s Toffees will be hoping to build some momentum after beating Bournemouth 3-0 in their last league outing.
There are five three o’clock kick-offs this afternoon, as a plethora of bottom half sides face off against each other. Bournemouth take on Wolves with Gary O’Neil’s side unbeaten in three league matches, Brentford host Burnley after the pair both suffered defeats in gameweek eight, and Nottingham Forest, who have lost just once in their last five league matches, face newly-promoted Luton.
Manchester City host Brighton on their return from the internationals, and they’ll be delighted to have Rodri back available for selection after suffering three straight domestic defeats.
Just one point separates Newcastle and Crystal Palace after eight matches, and they meet in the final three o’clock kick-off, as Eddie Howe looks to extend the Magpies’ seven game unbeaten run in all competitions.
A London derby is set for 17:30, as unbeaten Arsenal head to Stamford Bridge where they’ll face Chelsea off the back of a crucial 1-0 victory over Manchester City in their final game prior to the internationals.
The final match of the day is at Bramall Lane, and kicks-off at 20:00 as Sheffield United welcome Manchester United as they continue their search for a first Premier League win of the campaign.
