Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken for the first time today since a video was leaked of the former Arsenal man slating Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.
Things didn’t end well between Arsenal and Aubameyang, as their former captain forced his way out of the London club in favour of Barcelona who he left for Chelsea just months later.
A video was leaked over the weekend that involves Aubameyang telling someone that Arteta couldn’t handle senior players at the club:
“Managing big players, big characters – he can’t deal with it. Some young players, they don’t say anything…”
Aubameyang responded to the video on Twitter this afternoon, with the Gabon star addressing his fans with a short tweet.
Aware there is a video out that was recorded just after I arrived at Barca. At the time I still had a lot of bad feelings in me – Arsenal are doing great things this season and I wish all my old guys well, just not on November 6 😜 Now full focus on tomorrow 🔵

Aubameyang will now expect a much icier response from Arsenal fans when the Gunners travel to Stamford Bridge next month after slating their beloved boss.
The video showing criticism for Arteta comes at a poor time, with the Spaniard winning eight out of his opening nine games this season including a win against Liverpool on Sunday which sees the his side sit top of the table.
