Defenders
Nottingham Forest’s most valuable defender is 21-year-old Murillo, who joined from Corinthians and is valued at £18.8m. The young defender has impressed this season and his value will keep rising. Full-back Neco Williams (£14.5m) is just behind Murillo, he’s another young defender with a big future.
Manchester United have two World Cup winners in their ranks. One of them, Lisandro Martínez, is their most valuable player, valued at £42.7m, but Manchester United will be without him for this game because the Argentine is injured. Harry Maguire (£17.1m) will play a crucial part in the Manchester United defence once again in this FA Cup tie.
Midfielders
Morgan Gibbs-White is Nottingham Forest’s most valuable midfielder. The young midfielder is valued at £34.2m, making him the most valuable player in their squad. Not only is he the most valuable, he’s also the most influential player. When he plays well, the team usually do too.
Manchester United have a wealth of midfield talent, and it’s their captain Bruno Fernandes that tops the list, valued at £59.8m. Up-and-coming midfielder Kobbie Mainoo might only be worth £5.1m, but he’ll play a key role in this FA Cup tie, as he has in the past few months for ten Hag.
Attackers
Nottingham Forest’s attacking trio of Taiwo Awoniyi (£23.9m), Callum Hudson-Odoi (£10.2m), and Anthony Elanga (£15.3m) is a tricky trio for any defence. If Forest can get these three firing in this tie, they could easily find themselves in an FA Cup quarter-final.
Most of Manchester United’s squad value comes from their attacking players. Marcus Rashford is joint with Bruno as Manchester United’s most valuable player, valued at £59.8m. Ten Hag will need Rashford to step up now that they’ve lost in-form striker Rasmus Hojlund (£55.5m) to injury.
