Former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino was spotted at Wembley on Monday night for England’s 3-3 draw with Germany as Gareth Southgate’s future remains in jeopardy.
Pochettino, 50, is lined up to become the new England manager after the World Cup tournament this summer which expected to be Southgate’s last hurrah as leader.

According to the Daily Telegraph’s Matt Law, there is a growing feeling that Southgate will decide to step down after the World Cup, even if England go on to lift the trophy in Qatar.
England reached the Euro 2020 final last summer but fell short at the final hurdle against Italy on penalties, preventing a so-called ‘golden generation’ from making their mark on history with major international triumph.
If Southgate indeed departs his position at England in 2023, Mauricio Pochettinho will certainly be favourite to take charge after Graham Potter’s appointment at Chelsea.
