Martin Odegaard has admitted he is currently playing the best football of his career so far, as the Norwegian prepares for a visit to his home country Norway.
It is no secret that Arsenal have started off this season flying in all competitions, and captain Martin Odegaard has been at the centre of all things good for Arsenal this season.
Odegaard spoke to the media before he makes his return to Norway for Arsenal on Thursday afternoon, with the 23-year old saying that he is playing the best football of his career so far:
“I think so. I think I’ve developed a lot in the last few years. I’ve always been good on the ball but I feel like I’m developing a different side of my game now as well, without the ball. How to improve and affect the game in different ways, so yeah I feel like I’m doing well and of course when the team is doing well it makes things easier for me as well.
💬 "There were a lot of kids outside, training on the pitch next to the stadium. I saw a lot of Arsenal shirts, it’s good to see this reception…"

“I’m really happy to be part of this team and happy with where we are at the moment, but we want more of course.”
Arsenal make the trip to Norway on Thursday night, as they look to keep their 100% record in the group stage in tact after back to back victories against FC Zurich and Bodo/Glimt.
