Paris Saint-Germain will target Victor Osimhen and Rafael Leao before considering any serious move for Luis Diaz.
Luis Diaz Transfer News
Liverpool’s Colombian forward is being linked to PSG at a time when they are looking to bounce back from the expected sale of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.
Talk of an £80million transfer fee has been mooted, but at this stage sources suggest that the Paris club do not see him as a priority.
Victor Osimhen’s signing is the one that would be classed as the biggest win and they are trying to push forward with negotiations around that.
We reported this week how Chelsea are refusing to give up on their own hope of clinching Osimhen’s signature, but as it stands they would have to come up with an incredible sales pitch to stop him from making a move to PSG from Napoli.
SportsLens also understands that AC Milan star Leao is a dream signing for PSG and that such a deal would be explored before they turn to Diaz.
Liverpool already face a decision over the sale of star front man Mohamed Salah this summer, as he is pursued by Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
The current stance is that they have no intention to even consider the sale of 27-year-old Diaz. It has also been reported that Diaz wants to sign a new deal this summer and while that – again – will not be a priority, it is more likely than a sale.
Diaz has three years left on his current agreement and will be expected to hold talks with the club at the end of this season over his situation.
Some sources are unconvinced PSG would be willing to pay as much as £80million for Diaz but that would only become more clear if their main targets in the market do not work out.
