Jarrod Bowen goals this season have played a starring role in West Ham’s relative success, and as they prepare to mark the halfway stage of the season against Arsenal, he can hit a commendable milestone.
Jarrod Bowen Goals This Season
Only three players have scored more goals than West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, and two of those have made more appearances.
The England international accounts for just over 35% of West Ham’s total Premier League goal haul this season, and after enduring a stuttering campaign last term, he is firing on all cylinders at the optimal time.
This should stand him in good stead and boost his England Euros squad odds ahead of next summer, particularly with figures such as Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling falling by the wayside.
Bowen is just one off equaling his career best Premier League record from 2021/22, where he scored 12 goals in 36 appearances.
This term, he stands on the cusp of matching that haul as he heads into gameweek 19, which marks the halfway stage of the season. In doing so, Bowen could become the first ever West Ham player to reach 12 goals in the first half of a Premier League campaign.

Why Has Jarrod Bowen Been So Effective in 2023/24?
Particularly as of late in the absence of Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen has proven his feasibility as a long-term option at the spearhead of the attack.
Typically, Bowen has been most effective when operating out wide, and still holds all the traditional attributes of a successful winger; speed, power and positional awareness.
He has begun to compliment this with a new-found confidence in front of goal, and David Moyes has utilised him as a central striker, flanked either side by Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus.
We first saw him deploy this set-up in West Ham’s Carabao Cup round of 16 win over Arsenal – where Bowen found the net – which should inspire a huge amount of confidence going into Thursday night at the Emirates Stadium.
Since then, he has scored in half of the Hammers’ subsequent fixtures. The positional switch is certainly not the sole reason for his impressive form, but it leaves West Ham with even more flexibility.
The addition of Mohammed Kudus, and the fleet-footed flair of Lucas Paqueta compliment Bowen’s directness perfectly – the trio combine to make a pretty terrifying prospect for opposition teams.
