Frankie One Of The I’m A Celebrity Favourites
Love it or hate it, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here is back – returning for its 23rd series and with regulars Ant and Dec at the helm we can expect another jam-packed month of jungle antics to entertain fans up until Christmas.
The I’m A Celebrity class of 2023 has been revealed with several rumours now becoming reality. The twelve celebs will be dropped into the Aussie jungle on Sunday 19th November (9pm) for the ITV show launch.
Popular jockey Frankie Dettori, who recently did a retirement U-turn, was seen Down Under watching the Melbourne Cup this month and we now know the pocket Italian will be staying in Australia for a stint in the jungle.
Being a likable character, Dettori has already tasted reality TV after appearing in the 2013 Celebrity Big Brother and the best UK betting sites, including the SportsLens odds team, are taking no chances on Frankie being ‘first past the post’ – having installed him with I’m A Celebrity odds of 9/2 and one of the early betting favourites.
Money Comes For Josie Gibson
In the build-up to the start of the show, on Sunday 19th November, it’s been This Morning’s Josie Gibson that has been attracting the bulk of the money. Gibson is no stranger to winning a reality show after shooting to fame in 2010 when taking Big Brother 11 and also appeared on Ultimate Big Brother.
Now a regular on the This Morning couch, Josie Gibson will enter the jungle with a big fanbase and it’s no surprise she’s being supported with the best UK betting sites.
Will Farage Get Enough Votes?
Viewers will also get to see controversial former UKIP leader Nigel Farage on the show, who is sure to be a strong candidate for some of the early Bushtucker Trials. The bookies, however, feel the politician has got a chance of picking up some votes at I’m A Celebrity odds of 8/1 to win.
JLS singer, Marvin Humes and former heavyweight scouse boxer Tony Bellew are other fancies in the early 2023 I’m A Celebrity betting market.
While we could also see an interesting battle for the camp chef as French foodie Fred Sirieix and MasterChef guest judge Grace Dent will be sharpening their knives.
Neil Roarty, Betting Expert at SportsLens, said: “With I’m A Celebrity now entering its 23rd series the hit ITV show continues to grab the end-of-year TV headlines and show bosses look to have bagged an interesting line-up for 2023.”
“Of course, Nigel Farage is sure to divide opinions around the campfire, while Tony Bellew will follow past boxers Nigel Benn, David Haye and Chris Eubank into the I’m a Celeb ring – he’ll be hoping to become the first pugilist to go all the way”.
“Frankie Dettori looks a worthy selection – but, if betting on reality shows like this, it can often be wise to watch the first few shows and get a feel for the camp dynamics. That said, if you do want to wade in pre-tournament then Josie Gibson, who knows how to win shows like this after taking Big Brother in 2010, has already seen a lot of support in the betting and with a strong fanbase from This Morning looks a solid option.”
