Erling Haaland has been tearing the Premier League up this season, and this Sunday was just another day at the office for the Norwegian who netted three against Manchester United over the weekend.

The three goals on Sunday were extraordinarily Haaland’s 12th, 13th and 14th Premier League goals already this season, having only played eight games so far.

Haaland was fairly quiet during the opening half an hour, however sprung to life on the 35th minute mark as the 22-year old snatched a three minute brace, both assisted by midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne.

Haaland is now just nine goals away from last season’s golden boot winning tally, however with 30 games left of the season it would take something extraordinary for the striker to not eclipse last seasons highest tally.

The closest threat to Haaland winning the golden boot this season comes in the form of three time award winner Harry Kane, but with the Englishman on seven goals, Haaland appears to have already gone clear.

It’s not just goals that Haaland has in his game however, as the forward also managed two assists on Sunday against United.

The Norwegian described his three goal, two assist performance as “not bad” following the game, showing the young striker’s confidence and swagger at the minute.

“We scored six goals. What can I say? To win at home, score six goals, it’s nice. In the end, it’s amazing. There is nothing more to say.”

Haaland will be hoping that he can keep his jaw dropping home form going this week, as City take on Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
