Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is expected to be out of action until early December as he recovers from injury.
After missing the first three Premier League games due to a knee problem, Jesus sustained a hamstring injury during the Champions League win against Sevilla in October.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had refrained from specifying a return timeline after admitting he was “totally wrong” last time about Jesus’s recovery.
However, it’s now understood that Jesus’s camp are not expecting a full return until next month, following the November international break.
Currently, the former Manchester City player is undergoing rehabilitation at London Colney. The approach is cautious, given the upcoming busy festive period, as Arsenal intend to have him fit and in top form for a renewed title challenge.
If Jesus can make a December comeback, Arteta will have to make do without his first-choice striker for the next six games. This includes fixtures against West Ham in the Carabao Cup, two Champions League matches, and Premier League games against Newcastle, Brentford, and Burnley.

During Jesus’s absence, Eddie Nketiah will continue to lead the attack. The England striker is fresh from scoring a Premier League hat-trick in Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Sheffield United.
The Gunners are also without midfielder Thomas Partey, who faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a muscle issue.
