Welcome to the latest article in a new series for the 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League season from @FPL_Heisenberg for Sports Lens. In this weekly series, Heisenberg will be looking into the best three players for your FPL team – along with one juicy differential.
Heisenberg has a proven track record in FPL, having finished inside the top 1% of FPL managers in each of the last 9 seasons – including a best finish of 836th . Let’s cook!
Heisenberg Fantasy Premier League Tips (Gameweek 38) – Four Names To End The Season On A High
It’s the final weekend of Premier League action and with the title still not settled between Manchester City and Arsenal, football fans are in for a Gameweek 38 treat on Sunday.
To take you through the action FPL Heisenberg is on-hand to showcase four players he thinks are ‘must-haves’ to add to your fantasy teams in the search for those all-important last day points.
Erling Haaland (Fixture: West Ham, Home)
Erling Haaland has looked back to his best in the last three games, scoring a massive six goals in that time.
The last time the Norwegian Robot played at home he bagged four against Wolves and I can see him running riot at home to West Ham where a hat trick would see him end the season with 30 league goals.
With De Bruyne and Foden purring, this is helping Haaland as they are creating plenty of chances for City’s number 9.
Facing a West Ham side struggling defensively, Man City will be looking to build upon their impressive attacking displays of late.
Phil Foden (Fixture: West Ham, Home)
Sticking with Man City, next up is the mercurial Phil Foden – who’s just been crowned player of the season.
This season the Englishman has 17 goals and eight assists in 32 Premier League starts – making him one of the most reliable Man City assets this season.
If Foden can pick up central positions – where he has done most of his damage this season – then there could be another haul for Foden at home to West Ham.
Man City have to win to guarantee the League title and they’ll be looking to do this in style at the Etihad where they are always so dominant.
Cole Palmer (Fixture: Bournemouth, Home)
Young Player of the Season Cole Palmer has been a revelation this season – possibly the best FPL bargain ever. Even if he was priced at £10.0m, he’d have been underpriced!
His home form has been particularly exceptional this season with 16 goals and three assists in just 15 appearances for Chelsea.
Palmer is a great captain choice this week if you’re looking to go against the grain as the majority will go for Haaland.
Differential – Michael Olise (Fixture: Aston Villa, Home)
Michael Olise has a very good chance of making it three double-digit hauls in a row this Gameweek as Crystal Palace host a hungover Aston Villa side who have been celebrating Champions League football since Tuesday night when Man City beat Tottenham.
Olise has found his shooting boots with three goals and one assist in the last two games. It’s not only recent form for the Palace man – over the course of the season he has 10 goals and five assists in just 13 starts. If it wasn’t for injuries this season, he could very easily have 20+ league goals and be in double figures for assists.
I’m predicting a big home win for Crystal Palace who have been free-scoring under Oliver Glasner. He’ll be a very nice differential for this game as he’s currently owned by less than 3.5% of FPL managers.
