Cristiano Ronaldo hit his 700th club goal on Sunday, as the veteran striker came off the bench to score the winner for Manchester United against Everton on Sunday.
No player in history has more club goals than Cristiano Ronaldo, and the Portuguese striker hit another milestone on Sunday as he scored his 700th club goal to secure all three points at Goodison Park.
Ronaldo entered the game after half an hour, when Anthony Martial was forced to leave the field with an injury sustained during the warm up.
It took just under 15 minutes for Ronaldo to get his goal, as the striker ran onto a Casemiro ball from deep in midfield and calmly dispatched past Jordan Pickford in net to give United the lead going into half time.

Although the goal was Ronaldo’s first in the Premier League this season, it was also the 37-year old’s 144th for United and 700th club goal, as well as his 817th career goal.
Erik Ten Hag was full of praise for his striker following the game, as he spoke after the milestone goal against Everton.
“That is really impressive. When you score 700 goals, it’s a huge performance.

“I’m really happy for him, I congratulate him on that performance and I’m also happy it’s his first goal this season in the Premier League – he had to wait for it and I’m sure there will be more goals.
“The numbers he racks up have become normal – abnormal numbers have become normal.”
With Ronaldo up and running this season in the Premier League, could the five times Champions League winner help guide Manchester United back to the levels they should be this year?
