Brighton vs Tottenham Preview
Tottenham travel down to the south coast to take on Brighton in one of two Premier League matches on Thursday night, as they look to extend their winning run to four straight matches.
Spurs’ torrid five game winless run was brought to an end against Newcastle on the 10th of December, and they have since built on that with wins over Nottingham Forest and Everton, and head into Gameweek 19 occupying fourth place.
Brighton are nine points adrift of their north London counterparts, currently in ninth, and come into the clash off the back of a three game winless run in the English top flight.
Last time out, Roberto De Zerbi’s side played out a 1-1 stalemate against rivals Crystal Palace, which came after a 1-1 draw with Burnley and a 2-0 defeat to league leaders Arsenal.
A win over Marseille in the Europa League came in between the draw against Burnley and the defeat to Arsenal though, a win that saw the Seagulls top their group – securing their spot in the last-16 in the process.
