The BBC Sports Personality of the Year Odds for 2023 are out with England and Manchester United women’s goalkeeper Mary Earps the early favourite to claim the prestigious award. Earps was one of the standout performers in the Lionesses run to the World Cup final this year and can be backed at 8/11 with BetMGM.
England cricket star Stuart Broad is the second favourite in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year odds for 2023. The fast bowler, 37, retired from the game after the conclusion of last summer’s Ashes series, having taken 604 wickets, the sixth highest in history. If you fancy Broad to win, he can be supported at 9/4.

Mary Earps BBC Sports Personality of the Year Odds 2023
England women‘s football certainly gripped the nation across the last 12 months and Mary Earps has been a huge part of the Lionesses recent success. A Euro 2022 winner, Earps has regularly been the star of Sarina Wiegman’s side and won the Golden Glove at the 2023 World Cup, after keeping three clean sheets and saving a penalty in the Lionesses narrow defeat in the final.
At club level, Earps has been a valuable part of Manchester United’s rise and helped the club qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history earlier this year, and she also placed fifth in the Ballon d’Or rankings, the highest ever for a women’s goalkeeper. Therefore, it’s easy to see why the best UK betting sites have her down as odds on favourite at 8/11.

Stuart Broad BBC Sports Personality of the Year Odds 2023
Stuart Broad’s illustrious cricket career came to an end in the summer after he claimed his 604th Test wicket against Australia in the 2023 Ashes series. Broad has been an integral part of the England team since making his Test debut in 2007 and was part of the England side who won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 competition in the West Indies. Broad hit the final ball he faced in Test cricket for 6 and took a wicket with the final ball he bowled in Test cricket, a double feat unique to him.
At domestic level, Broad represented his home county Nottinghamshire from 2008 until earlier this year and even had the Pavilion End at Trent Bridge renamed after him, a true honour to the local lad who done good. “It’s a bit surreal to think that part of the ground where I fell in love with cricket will now bear my name,” Broad said. The 37-year-old is one of the all-time greats, and that’s why he can be backed at a tempting 9/4.
