Arsenal are keeping tabs on the lack of minutes loanee Nuno Tavares is receiving at Nottingham Forest.
Tavares was left out of Steve Cooper’s squad for the second game running in Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton. Across three appearances, the 23-year-old has played just 94 minutes.
His lack of minutes will have raised Arsenal’s attention, and the club may look to find a solution if the situation continues. Mikel Arteta may be keen to send Tavares elsewhere in order to play consistent minutes to aid his development.
Prior to Forest’s previous match, against West Ham, Tavares deleted his Instagram profile picture after being left out of the squad. The Portuguese then deleted his Instagram account during the Brighton match, but it’s unclear if this has any relation to being left out.

Arsenal bought Tavares from Benfica for £8 million in the summer of 2021. The left-back made 28 appearances for Arsenal, scoring one goal and assisting two.
Tavares then joined Forest on loan in the summer after spending the 22/23 season on loan at Marseille. He featured 39 times for the French outfit and scored six goals.
