After a year away from football, David De Gea is finally going to return to the pitch this season as personal terms have been agreed with Serie A side Fiorentina.
David De Gea Moves To Fiorentina
David De Gea haas often been in the headlines for the wrong reasons in the past year, but the former Manchester United goalkeeper has finally agreed personal terms with a new club.
Last week it was reported that De Gea was going to sign for Genoa but personal terms became an issue between club and player when the Spaniard demanded a higher wage on his return to football.
After talks broke down with Genoa, it seemed like De Gea may be forced to spend yet another season on the sidelines having left Manchester at the end of last season.
Another Serie A side has been willing to give the 33-year-old a chance though and with De Gea now in Florence for his medical, the deal is all but confirmed.

De Gea hasn’t played football in over a year, with his final season in the Premier League a very mixed one for the Spaniard.
In his final campaign for Manchester United De Gea won the coveted Premier League Golden Glove award, but his questionable mistakes throughout the campaign prompted an exit as his contract reached its expiration date.
After seeing De Gea play for United for over 13 years, it will be strange seeing the goalkeeper take on a new challenge but following a year on the sidelines the number one seems eager to get going again.
There is just over a week until the Serie A begins for De Gea’s new club and he will also have some European qualifiers to take part in should he be integrated straight into the side.
Fiorentina have two Conference League playoff games coming up at the end of August, with their opposition yet to be decided.
