Chelsea remain outsiders in the battle to sign Victor Osimhen but are not considering themselves out of the race yet.

Paris Saint-Germain are favourites to sign the Napoli striker and some insiders believe it is going to prove impossible to stop the Ligue 1 club from completing the deal.
But Chelsea are still looking into new forwards for next season and SportsLens understands they are determined not to give up on Osimhen, with the club looking into ways to bring a deal to life.
It is going to take another massive spend to land him as a transfer fee will be in excess of £100 million so Chelsea are set to explore new ways to negotiate – including the idea of offering players.
Sources claim Osimhen remains the dream signing that could transform the Blues fnext season and that, as such, new advances will be made to discover if a deal is at all possible.
It is still a long-shot as PSG are more likely to look at a straight forward cash deal to satisfy Napoli, but reports in Italy are even claiming that Chelsea are seeking talks in the next week over the situation.
Osimhen has 14 goals for Napoli this season and the 25-year-old is ready to show fresh ambition this summer.
Chelsea have to also weigh in the fact that Osimhen would need to become one of their highest earners at a time when their finances are under scrutiny.
But finding a new goal option to compliment Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson is key, while Christopher Nkunku should also add new edge to the attack.
PSG want Osimhen to be the new icon of their side at a time when Kylian Mbappe is set to depart and that is Chelsea’s main obstacle outside of their own financial capabilities.
