The tie will be a replay of the 2022 final, in which the Reds were crowned champions after a penalty shootout. Neither side could break the deadlock in that one, before Jurgen Klopp’s side went on to win an entertaining shootout 11-10.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be seeking a sixth Carabao Cup title in the capital, which would see them qualify for next season’s Europa Conference League, meanwhile Liverpool look to lift the trophy for an impressive 10th time.

Klopp and Pochettino have faced off 13 times since 2015, with the German boasting a strong record when going up against his Argentine counterpart.
The pair have already met twice in the league this term, with August’s clash at Stamford Bridge ending in a 1-1 stalemate, followed by a 4-1 win for Liverpool at Anfield in their most recent encounter just less than a month ago.
Of course, Klopp outwitted Pochettino in what was perhaps the biggest game of their careers back in June 2019, as the Reds pipped Tottenham to Champions League glory in the final thanks to a 2-0 win in Madrid.
You’d have to go back more than six years to October 2017 to find the sole tie in which Pochettino got the better of the German. That came in fairly emphatic fashion though, as his Spurs side ran rampant with a 4-1 victory at Wembley during the 2017/18 Premier League season.
