West Ham United would consider Thomas Tuchel as their next boss if he loses his job at Bayern Munich. Sources have indicated to SportsLens that ambition will be high if the Hammers do change boss this year and that Tuchel is already admired within the hierarchy.

Moyes is under pressure as his side have failed to win a game this calendar year and the club are no closer to giving him a new deal, with his contract expiring this summer.

It is possible he leaves at the end of his current agreement and if so David Sullivan must decide which direction to take the club in. New targets are currently being explored, but at a time when Tuchel is fighting to save his job at Bayern it is believed he would become a candidate if he is out of work. The club will search for a boss of the highest calibre.

West Ham Keen For Tim Steidten To Stay

We revealed this week how West Ham are expected to commit to technical director Tim Steidten if Moyes leaves. Sources indicate it is highly unlikely both men exit at the same time and Steidten would be tasked with finding a Moyes successor.

He is a fan of Tuchel and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops from here. Tuchel needs to find some winning form after losing back-to-back matches against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Lazio most recently in the Champions League.

Moyes takes West Ham to Nottingham Forest this weekend in the Premier League, hoping for a first win since beating Arsenal 2-0 on December 28.
