Chelsea and Crystal Palace could both break a club record if the Blues emerge victorious in tonight’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

The two sides go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge this evening, with the game kicking off at 8:00pm.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won their past 12 league games against tonight’s opponents.

If they make it 13 in a row, it would become the longest winning streak against a single opponent in the Blues’ history.

For Crystal Palace, this miserable run against their London rivals is already a club record.

Chelsea currently sit 11th in the Premier League table, and are enduring a torrid season by their standards. They lost 4-2 at home to Wolves last time out, dropping below the West Midlands club.

Palace meanwhile are in 15th, seven points below Chelsea. They lost 4-1 at Brighton on 3 February, and have won only once in their past five league fixtures.

Chelsea Vs Crystal Palace Head-To-Head Record

Chelsea have beaten Crystal Palace on every meeting between the two sides since the Eagles were victorious 14 October 2017, winning 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

As well as 12 straight league wins, the Blues also won 2-0 in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley in 2022.

Palace’s last win was actually their second consecutive victory over Chelsea, having also beaten them 2-1 in the reverse fixture.

That was Palace’s only league double over Chelsea in more than 50 years.

Oddly, there have been no draws between the two in their last 26 meetings in all competitions, a run stretching back to a goalless Premier League match in 1995.

Since 1969/70, Chelsea have won 30 times, Palace eight times, with ten draws.

Chelsea Vs Crystal Palace Team News

Crystal Palace will be without both Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, as both are sidelined with hamstring problems.

The injury-hit Eagles are also missing Marc Guehi with a knee issue. Jasurun Rak-Sakyi meanwhile has suffered a setback in his recovery, also from a hamstring problem.

For Chelsea, Benoit Badiashile is a doubt after picking up a groin injury in the FA Cup victory over Aston Villa last Wednesday.

Levi Colwill, who has been missing for three weeks with a knee issue, will be assessed ahead of the game.

One positive for Mauricio Pochettino is that Trevor Chalobah is nearing a return. The 24-year-old has not kicked a ball in anger this season, but is now back in training and close to fitness.
