The latest update by Fabrizio Romano surrounding the future of Kalvin Phillips has caused a shift in the latest betting odds, with West Ham United now leading the fray.
Romano posted the following update on X, formerly known as Twitter, which has caused the odds for the Manchester City outcast to join the Hammers to crash from 7/4 down to 4/6.

Kalvin Phillips Next Club Odds: West Ham Set To Beat Crystal Palace
Several clubs across Europe have been monitoring Phillips’ situation throughout January, with the midfielder being out of favour at Man City.
Juventus had held talks with City over a loan deal for the England midfielder, but ultimately, a deal could not be agreed.
Similarly, Newcastle were widely reported to be keen on bringing Phillips to Tyneside, but, amid issues meeting the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations, the Magpies were not willing to pay the loan fee City demanded.
Crystal Palace are also in the hunt for the 28-year-old, but following Romano’s update on X, West Ham have steamed ahead in the race.
Phillips’ priority has always been regular gametime when deciding his next club, particularly with Euro 2024 approaching this summer.
It’s likely David Moyes has assured him that he will play a key role in the second half of the Hammers’ season, as they aim to maintain their European qualification spot in the league table.
