Bolton vs Luton Preview and Prediction
Bolton are proving to be extremely tough to beat at home, winning eight of their last 10 matches at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Alongside this, Ian Evatt’s side have won five of their last six matches, with the draw to Luton in the FA Cup being the only draw.
This fixture was in need of a replay, after a 0-0 draw on January 7th, as Luton failed to impose their Premier League superiority on Bolton.
The Hatters were in league action on Friday evening, as Rob Edward’s side came back from behind to draw with Burnley at Turf Moor.
Luton have lost six of their last 10 away fixtures, as the newly-promoted side continue to underwhelm away from Kenilworth Road.
With that in mind, we expect Luton to eventually prove their Premier League quality and win the match by a narrow margin.
Prediction: Bolton 1-2 Luton
Bolton vs Luton Tips
- Elijah Adebayo To Score @ 8/5
- Both Teams To Score @ 3/5
- Combined Odds @ 47/20
Bolton vs Luton Tip One: Elijah Adebayo To Score @ 8/5
The Luton striker is expected to lead the line for Rob Edward’s side on Tuesday evening, as the Hatters look to avoid a huge FA Cup upset.
So far, the 26-year-old has scored five goals in the Premier League, which is a strong return on his debut season in the top-flight.
Given these numbers, we expect Adebayo to be a huge threat against a lower-league opposition and at 8/5, is an enticing price for this FA Cup bet.
Bolton vs Luton Tip Two: Both Teams To Score @ 3/5
Neither side managed to find the target in the original fixture, which is surprising given the league disparity between the two clubs.
Bolton have scored 45 goals in League One this season, only bettered by three teams in the division, while Luton have conceded the third highest in the Premier League (38).
After analysing these stats, we expect both sides to have a plethora of chances, given Luton’s defensive record and Bolton’s ability going forward – meaning both teams to score is a worthy addition.
