Norwich vs Bristol Rovers Preview

Norwich City are having a middle-of-the-road season thus far. The Canaries drew 1-1 with high-flying Southampton at Carrow Road in their last fixture, but are currently 13th in the Championship table.

They are only five points below the play-off places, though and could well mount a promotion push as we enter the second half of the campaign.

Rovers meanwhile have 11 goals from their two FA Cup matches so far. Their 7-2 first round victory against Whitby Town was followed up with a 4-2 win at Crewe Alexandra.

In League One, they sit tenth in the table with nine wins, seven draws and eight losses from 24 league fixtures.

David Wagner’s Norwich go into the game as heavy favourites, but will need to be wary of a potential lower league banana skin.
