Should Anthony Joshua Retire If He Loses To Otto Wallin?
Retirement is a topic that comes up a lot in boxing, especially when a fighter takes a few losses. The ‘R’ word has been used several times surrounding former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in recent times, with fans saying we have lost the ‘old AJ’.
Boxing analyst Brady Jones has weighed-in with his opinion on the fight and whether or not Joshua should retire if he loses to Otto Wallin in the main event of ‘Day Of Reckoning’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, December 23.

Jones pulled no punches in his assessment of the Joshua vs Wallin fight, and admits he’d like to see ‘AJ’ hang up his gloves if he loses to the Swedish heavyweight:
The popular boxing analyst also stated that if the 2012 Olympic Gold Medallist no longer has the hunger to fight and is only in it for the pay-days, then he should leave the sport:
“He has said he’s in it for the money now, which means he’s lost that hunger and lost that drive. We can see that in him, we can see it in his aura,” he added.
“He is a business in his own way. He’s like David Beckham – a business. So many endorsements, modelling, and he’ll get more work if he retires from boxing.”

Brady Jones Predicts Anthony Joshua Will KO Otto Wallin!
View this post on Instagram
Brady Jones has sat down and analysed Saturday’s ‘Day Of Reckoning’ bout between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin on December 23rd, assessing who he thinks will win the main event at ‘Day Of Reckoning’.
The boxing analyst believes that there are a few ways in which the fight can play out, but that he is favouring the fight to end inside the distance in favour of Anthony Joshua:
“I think we’re going to get a Joshua KO,” said Jones when giving his final prediction for the main event on Saturday night from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“If you’re asking me a specific round, I’d say around Round 7 or Round 8. It will probably be a counterpunch, Wallin rushing in a little bit with Joshua just catching him coming in. I’m going with a straight right hand finish from AJ. I definitely don’t see this one going the distance. Joshua by KO!”
How Does Anthony Joshua Defeat Otto Wallin?

Another video Brady Jones has released on his Instagram is assessing how the former two-time unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua can defeat Otto Wallin.
The boxing analyst has dissected the fight and believes the Brit can beat Wallin convincingly on points, or perhaps even via late stoppage:
“He [Joshua] needs to play the jab game. That power jab, that quick jab. Wallin has to get in close, Joshua knows that. So if he can keep him at distance and hurt him with that stiff jab, he has a great chance,” added Brady.
“AJ actually has a strong jab when he uses it. AJ is the bigger puncher of the two, but doesn’t have the best chin. The surest path to victory for AJ is to play the jab game and keep racking up points.
“Wallin notoriously slows down late in fights, so if an opening presents itself then, take him out.”
What Are The Key Rounds In Joshua vs Wallin Fight?

One of Brady Jones’ most recent Instagram/TikTok videos is discussing the key rounds in the Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin fight on Saturday, December 23rd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“Generally speaking, Round 1 is always important. The fighters feel each other out, we see who is more confident, who is more hesitant and who is landing their jab,” said the boxing analyst on the importance of the opening three minutes.
“I think around Round 4/5 for Joshua is going to be really important. He is a slow starter, so it normally takes him this amount of time to actually get into the fight.
“For Wallin, the first five rounds are going to be important as well. Come to Round 8 or so, Joshua normally starts to tire, so this will be an important stage of the fight for both.
“I don’t see this fight going the distance, so I’m not going to talk about the championship rounds,” added Jones. It is evident that the early exchanges and middle rounds will be integral in how the fight plays out for both men, according to Brady Jones.
Who Wins Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder On March 9th?

One of Brady Jones’ most recent videos is all about the proposed Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder bout. There have been rumours that the fight has been agreed for March 9th in Saudi Arabia.
However, this is all provided both ‘AJ’ and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ win their fights against Otto Wallin and Joseph Parker respectively on Saturday night on the huge ‘Day Of Reckoning’ show.
Boxing analyst Brady Jones feels that Wilder would come out on top if the fight happens next year, and predicts AJ to get knocked out by the fearsome American:
“I really think Wilder catches him [Joshua] – I’ve always felt that. Especially because AJ is quite hesitant these days, is quite static and doesn’t really move his head.
“Everyone talks about Wilder’s power, but that right hand is super fast as well. I just think whether it be Round 2, Round 3 or Round 8, he will catch AJ with it. That’s all it takes.
“Wilder would catch him at some stage with that straight right hand.”
