Greece vs France Preview & Prediction
Didier Deschamps will lead his already-qualified France side out in Athens against Greece for their final European Championship qualifying match on Tuesday, looking to maintain their perfect record throughout the campaign.
The French have won all seven of their Group B matches, and come into this one off the back of a thumping 14-0 victory over Gibraltar where captain Kylian Mbappe netted a hat-trick.
Greece’s inspired qualification effort lasted until Saturday evening, but the Netherlands’ narrow 1-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland means that Gus Poyet’s side can no longer qualify directly via group play.
Despite the disappointment of missing out on the top two, Greek fans will be delighted to hear that their side have been afforded a second opportunity to advance to the finals, as their position in the Nations League play-offs has now been confirmed.
We at SportsLens don’t expect a complete blowout at the OPAP Arena, but are backing the French to win comfortably to make it eight wins from eight – which will secure a maximum points haul in qualifying.
Prediction: Greece 0-3 France

Greece vs France Betting Tip 1: France Half Time/Full Time @ 6/4
Our first tip for your Greece vs France Tuesday night bet builder is to back the French to lead at both half time and full time, priced by the majority of leading UK bookmakers at 6/4.
France have achieved this exact feat in five of their seven group matches, failing to do so in the reverse fixture as well as away in Ireland, and led by an incredible seven goals at the break against Gibraltar on Saturday.
Looking to become just the second side in qualifying to finish with a 100% record, we at SportsLens are expecting France to put on a show in Athens, and are backing them to carry their goalscoring form into this one with goals on either side of the half-time whistle.
Greece vs France Betting Tip 2: Kylian Mbappe To Score Two Or More @ 5/1
Of France’s whopping 14 goal glut in Nice last time out, Didier Deschamps’ captain Kylian Mbappe scored three and also registered two assists.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar now has six goals in his last two matches for club and country having bagged another hat-trick against Reims prior to the international window, and now has nine goals to his name in qualifying.
Mbappe is the third top goalscorer in European Championship qualifying, but in order to match Romelu Lukaku’s 13 goals – he’ll need to bag four against Greece.
Although we don’t expect the 24-year-old to score four on Tuesday, we believe that he’ll give it a right good go, and at 5/1, are backing him to score two or more to close out the campaign.
Scoring two or more in a match has already been achieved by Mbappe in three of France’s seven Group B matches, and he also bagged the winner in the reverse fixture as Les Bleus ran out as 1-0 winners in Paris.
