Armenia vs Wales Preview
Rob Page’s Wales return to European Championship qualifying action in Group D having enjoyed an incredible October that saw their direct qualification hopes for Euro 2024 revived.
The Dragons’ defeats to Armenia and Turkey back in June left them with work to do, but having bounced back with wins over Latvia and Croatia – Ben Davies and co. are second in the group and will secure qualification by winning their last two games.
It certainly won’t come easy for the Welsh however, as they face off in their first of two November fixtures out in Yerevan against Armenia, who put on a show at the Cardiff City Stadium five months ago and secured an unlikely 4-2 triumph.
Armenia’s push for qualification hasn’t quite gone to plan since that international window, and they’ve now suffered three successive defeats at the hands of Croatia, Latvia and North Macedonia.
