Real Madrid vs Braga Prediction

Los Blancos approach matchday 4 of the Champions League knowing that a victory over Braga at the Santiago Bernabeu will secure their advancement to the last-16 of the competition.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have won three out of three in Group C thus far, and narrowly overcame their Primeira Liga counterparts 2-1 in the reverse fixture just two weeks ago.

That defeat left Braga sitting third in the table at the midway point of the group stage – three points behind Napoli, with progression to the knockout stages now looking unlikely.

Both sides are unbeaten since their meeting at the end of October, with Braga drawing two and winning one, whilst Real Madrid have beaten Barcelona in the El Clasico and drew against Rayo Vallecano last time out.

Considering all of the above, we at SportsLens can’t see past anything other than a home victory in the Spanish capital, and expect Jude Bellingham and co. to make it four wins from four in the group.

Prediction: Real Madrid 3-0 Braga

Real Madrid vs Braga Betting Tip 1: Real Madrid Half Time/Full Time @ 8/11

Our first tip for your Real Madrid vs Braga Champions League bet builder on Wednesday night, is to back Los Blancos to lead at both half time and full time, priced at 8/11.

As previously alluded to, Ancelotti’s side have won all three of their group stage matches thus far, and have won 12 of their 15 matches in all competitions this season, which includes a 2-1 win versus Braga in the reverse fixture.

Knowing that a victory will secure their advancement to the knockout stages in front of a passionate home crowd, we at SportsLens expect Real Madrid to put on a show at the Bernabeu by reigning victorious in dominant fashion.

Real Madrid vs Braga Betting Tip 2: Vinicius Junior First Goalscorer @ 10/3

He hasn’t quite lived up to the hype of previous seasons, however Vinicius Junior remains a constant threat in the Real Madrid attack and strikes fear into the hearts of opposing defenders.

The Brazilian has managed just three goals and three assists in 11 appearances across La Liga and the Champions League this season, with his last goal coming at the start of October against Osasuna.

Vinicius assisted Bellingham’s decisive goal against Braga in the reverse fixture, and having now gone six games without a goal for club and country, we feel as though the 23-year-old is due a goal.

This is why we at SportsLens are backing Vinicius Junior to net the opener in the Spanish capital on Wednesday night, priced at 10/3.
