There’s just one Premier League fixture remaining in gameweek nine, and it comes at 20:00 this evening (Monday, 23rd October) as Fulham make the trip across London to take on unbeaten Tottenham Hotspur.

Gameweek nine is drawing to a close in the Premier League, and after an action-packed weekend of fixtures – Fulham head to Tottenham to take on Ange Postecoglou’s unbeaten side in the final clash of the gameweek.
The pair come into the clash having won their final league matches prior to the international window, with 10-man Spurs overcoming newly-promoted Luton with a 1-0 scoreline, meanwhile Fulham got the best of another newly-promoted side in Sheffield United by three goals to one.
Tottenham, of course, are unbeaten in the league heading into the clash, and sat at the top of the Premier League coming into the gameweek, whilst the Cottagers sat in 12th after a mixed start to the season.
Marco Silva’s side do hold one advantage in being the only side to have beaten Tottenham in competitive play this season, as Postecoglou’s men were sent crashing out of the Carabao Cup in the second round on penalties against Andreas Pereira and co.
Based on previous meetings, it should be a fairly tight affair as Spurs only narrowly beat this evening’s counterparts with 2-1 and 1-0 scorelines in the league last season. It looks to be an entirely different prospect this time around though, with a new-look Tottenham side without talisman Harry Kane, who scored two of the three against the Cottagers last term.
