Many clubs have been interested in Mohammed Kudus this season. West Ham are the latest English side to attempt to acquire him but their second bid worth £35.4 million has been rejected by Ajax.

The 23-year-old winger achieved 24 goals & assists in his breakout campaign last season. It’s clear why West Ham are pushing a move for the Ghanaian.

It’s also believed that Chelsea have shown interest in Kudus but no official bid has been. Brighton agreed a deal with Ajax but the Seagulls walked away after failing to agree personal terms with Kudus.

With just seven days left of the transfer window, West Ham will be hopeful they can agree on a fee with Ajax and Kudus. Kudus’ contract with Ajax expires in 2025 and he has turned down any extensions made by the club.

David Moyes will be looking to bolster attacking options ahead of their Europa League campaign which gets underway next month. His attacking options aren’t up to European standard so a new addition before the transfer window ends will really help his side for the upcoming months ahead.

Man City were negotiating a deal for Lucas Paqueta, who’s release clause was priced at £85 million. Those talks are off following the Brazilian being investigated with betting breaches.

The East London side have signed Stuggart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos for £19m.  The Greek defender was signed by Arsenal in 2018 but he struggled to find game time and only made seven Premier League appearances for the club.

West Ham’s first choice Harry Maguire decided that the club wasn’t the right move for him despite an agreement between Manchester United and West Ham.
