Tottenham came out with the intent but struggled to get back into the game. They eventually got their goal through Harry Kane. Kane nodded the ball in at the back post, beating Kieran Tripper to the ball.

Tottenham pushed to get an equaliser, but they struggled to break Newcastle United down.

For Tottenham, it’s not the result they were hoping for. They were third in the league with a chance to close the gap on the top two. Conte will be keen to solve the issues that were evident throughout the game.
