It looked like it would have be been a soft foul if the referee gave it against Wilson.
To add further insult to injury, Almirón made it 2-0.
The Paraguayan is in amazing form of late. He’s not been a prolific player during his time at Newcastle United, but this season he’s found his feet.
Almirón skipped past one Tottenham defender and found the bottom corner with ease.

As the half-time whistle blew, boos ringed round the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
