Antonio Conte has warned his players to ‘pay attention’ following Tottenham’s 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, with the 10 men German side threatening to equaliser late on.
Spurs were able to just beat Frankfurt at the second time of asking, as Antonio Conte’s side held on for a 3-2 win against ten men.
Conte had some very strong words for his team following their win on Wednesday night, as he warned to ‘Pay Attention’ in the latter stages of the game:
“It’s strange to explain the final result is only 3-2 because I think what happened during the game, we should score many, many goals and we stayed until the end.
🎙 “The game finished with a win, but for sure we have to analyse and try to be better next time. It was a good performance. A good win.”

“We have to learn about the situation that the game has never ended and we have to go and stay into the game.
“At the same time, we have to pay attention to understand, to learn about this game where the game until the end, we have to stay focused and need to stay in the pitch. It would have been a disaster if we drew a game like this.”
Conte will be hoping his Spurs side can keep their focus for the final two group stage games, in a group that is only separated by three points from top to bottom.
