The 2021 Breeders Cup marks the first time the World Championships of dirt and turf horse racing have been broadcast on terrestrial TV in the UK. There are ITV Racing tips from all of punters’ favourite pundits as a result.

There are differences of opinion between Walsh and Weaver in the Breeders Cup Mile (8:19pm UK time), though. The experts don’t agree about the one to be on in the feature turf race, the 1m 4f Breeders Cup Turf (11:40) either. Some of the dirt races are no bet for the ITV Racing tipsters but they don’t follow the action stateside with their expertise needed closer to home.
Ruby Walsh tips include a punt for the feature Breeders Cup Classic (12:40am), so at least the Irishman is entering into the spirit of the thing. Weaver also likes hot Filly & Mare Sprint favourite Gamine for a repeat bid in the opening contest (7:05pm). That one hasn’t been missed at all on horse racing betting sites but her claims of following-up on on last year’s success are obvious.

Trio of 2021 Breeders Cup bets appeal to both ITV Racing tipsters
Walsh and Jason Weaver tips are unanimous about three consecutive races at Del Mar. In the Turf Sprint (7:40), they both sing the praises of Golden Pal – one of three running for Kentucky trainer Wesley Ward. He has had transatlantic missions on our shores in each of the last two seasons, so may be familiar to some punters.
Another of the ITV Racing tips that Walsh and Weaver agree on is Life Is Good in the Dirt Mile (8:19). This appears to be one of those Breeders Cup races where there simply isn’t any sort of case for betting against the favourite.
Loves Only You completes a treble endorsed by both Walsh and Weaver in 1m 3f Filly & Mare Turf race (8:59). Perhaps because the Anglo-Irish raiders Audarya and Love has both been disappointing since fighting out the finish of the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot, that has prompted the ITV Racing pundits to pick a member of the home team.
