The next big talking horse to hit the horse racing scene. Has been scintillating in winning his first five races, which included three Grade 1 races. Entered many people’s radars back in Boxing Day 2021 when running away with the RunHappy Malibu Stakes at Santa Anita. After a break came back to win the Hill ‘N’ Dale Metropolitan Handicap in June and backed that up with a facile success in the TVG Pacific Classic at Del Mar on Sept 4. Next stop is the Breeders’ Cup Classic, where he’s @ 1/2 with Bovada to make it 6-from-6 and live up to the hype that’s already surrounding this superstar in the making.

2. BAAEED

Trainer: William Haggas
Sex: Colt
Billed by many as the best horse in training at the moment and at the time of writing (27th Sept) is yet to lose a race 10-from-10. Trained by William Haggas, this Sea The Stars colt landed the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood in July over a mile and was even more impressive when taking the Juddmonte International Stakes at York in August. Ridden in most of his races by jockey Jim Crowley.

3. NATURE STRIP

Trainer: Chrs Waller
Sex: Gelding
Australian-trained sprinter that at the time of writing (27th Sept) has won 22 of his 39 races. Took the Darley Sprint Classic at Flemington in Nov 21 and came back this season as an 8 year-old but better than ever. Raided Royal Ascot too in June by speeding to victory in the King’s Stand Stakes – winning by a remarkable 4 1/2 lengths. Ridden by James McDonald.

4=. EPICENTER

The winner of the 2022 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga and followed that up with another success in the Travers Stakes at the same track -bolting up by 5 1/4 lengths that day. Prior to those wins ran a cracking second in the 2022 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs and also notched a silver medal in the 2022 Preakness Stakes at Pimlico. Ridden in most of his races by Jose Rosario.

Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile winner in 2021 at Del Mar last season and has returned this term in just the same form. Landed the Grade One Pegasus World Cup Invitational at Gulfstream in Jan 22 and backed that up with a fine fourth in the Dubai World Cup at Meydan. Had a small break but returned in the summer with top wins in the John A Nerud Stakes at Belmont and the Whitney Stakes in August at Saratoga. Is also entered in the Woodward Stakes on Sat 1st Oct. Ridden most of the time by Irad Ortiz Jr.
