AC Milan score two goals early and held on for a 3-2 win thanks to a Cagliari own goal.
The goals for Milan were from Marco Boriello in the 7th minute, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the 19th minute, and the own goal from Cagliari’s Davide Astori in the 38th minute.
Cagliari’s goals were from Daniele Ragatzu in the 17th minute and from Alessandro Matri in the 32nd minute. It was tied at 2-2 until the own goal which proved to be the difference.
The win keeps AC Milan within three points of Inter Milan.
