Paul Scholes scored a goal midway through the second half to lead Man U to the top of the table.
The goal came in the 72nd minute and was a result of Wolves unable to clear and a solid finish from the 35 year old. Scholes got the ball in the box and took a touch before beating the goalkeeper from close range to the far post. The goal would be enough for the win.
Wolves did have some chances and Manchester United didn’t look as strong without Wayne Rooney. They now lead the table by two points over Chelsea and Arsenal.
