Liverpool have been given encouragement in their pursuit of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto after the player’s agent exclusively revealed to TMW that his client is most likely for a move away from Florence.
With reports all over Twitter claiming that Simon Mignolet might no longer play for Liverpool again, the Reds would be desperate to sign a goalkeeper in the upcoming January transfer window.
Got told at the match, Mignolet won’t play for #LFC again. If thats the case, we HAVE to sign a new Keeper in January, Jones not good enough

Liverpool have been linked with Neto for quite some time now. The 25 year old’s contract is set to expire in the summer and there have been no reports over a possible contract extension. A possible move to Roma also hasn’t been ruled out by TMW’s transfer expert Stefano Caira. He said, “Neto could move to Roma in January. However a contract extension is also possible with Fiorentina. Else he might leave on a free transfer in June.”
Neto’s agent Stefano Castagna however said that his client faces a major decision in his career on whether he wants to stay in Fiorentina or move elsewhere. “He is going to take an important decision for his future. He is 25 years old has a contractual situation. He also has to decide about his own life and his career. Neto also wants to be 300% sure of his choice. He is also working hard in the purple shirt and is one of the best goalkeepers in the league”.
Only time shall tell if the Anfield side will sign Neto in January.
