Chelsea & United to make stunning move for €55m Real Madrid superstar?

On Sunday The Express published an article with this headline “Man Utd and Chelsea could offer former Spurs star Luka Modric Premier League return.” Despite knowing that is not from a so-called reliable source, still the inquisitive mind popped in to check the content. Basically what I was looking at was from where Express got this source, because I was pretty certain, there’s something fishy in it.

I was not left disappointed. Jamie Anderson writes: “According to Francois Gallardo, described as a FIFA agent, Vanja Modric is unhappy in Madrid and could play a major role in her husband’s return to the Premier League.

Gallardo said: “Modric is the engine of Real Madrid, but the problem it is his wife who did not fit into Madrid in Spain.”

Nothing wrong in that except the fact that Mr Gallardo is not a FIFA agent. He claims to be a journalist who appears in Spanish TV channels where he fabricates story and sells in the market. But I seriously don’t know how he became popular and why media gives importance to his nonsense.

Thanks to Sport Witness, who has covered quite a bit of articles on this famous FIFA agent, we come to know, this guy has an illustrious track record of sprouting BS.

Some of his biggest claims are: John Terry joining Valencia, Dani Alves agreeing to join Manchester United, Luis Suarez joining Real Madrid & so forth.

For a while, let us pretend to be ignorant of this fact that he is not a registered agent, in fact there is no such things at all. Just think about this – Modric’s wife could play a major role in taking his husband away from Madrid. This is what the summary is all about.

What Express did was to make 2+2=18; they instantly linked him with Chelsea & United, that too with a headline, the Premier League giants could make an offer for the former Tottenham superstar, who would cost around €55m as per transfermarket.com

I seriously don’t know how to react, leaving it to you guys.
