The Red Devils are out of all domestic competitions while their chances of securing top four places are in huge danger. Further, they may bow out of the Champions League as well, as they trail 2-0 in the first leg at the hands of Olympiakos.

Reports emerged in the morning that a section of Manchester United’s boardroom members are unconvinced with Moyes’ abilities and after losing out 3-0 to Liverpool, for the first time talks of replacing him has been discussed as well.

However, Moyes feels he has the backing of the club hierarchies and is unperturbed about his future. He said as quoted by talkSPORT:

“My future has not changed one bit. I have a great job. I know exactly the direction I want to go in.

“The season has not been as good as I had hoped but I have ideas that I will put in place when the time is right.”

Moyes further adds that he has the full backing of his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson while maintains that the club has a long term vision and that’s why he has been given a six-year-contract at the first place.
