According to reports in the reliable Spanish radio Cadena Ser, there has been an agreement between Barcelona and Liverpool for Luis Suarez for €90m.

The arrival of the Uruguayan at the Camp Nou has the approval of new manager Luis Enrique who seems desperate to sign the world class striker from Merseyside. The striker has been banned by FIFA for four months after biting Giorgio Cheillini in the World Cup but there are now reports that the punishment could be lessened.

The FIFA disciplinary committee confirmed that the player can continue to train and be traded to another clubs.

Barcelona weren’t earlier willing to meet Suarez’s buyout clause but they’re convinced that Suarez’s will to join the Catalan outfit will be enough to lower the asking price and that he will eventually join the Catalan club.

Barcelona have valued Liverpool and Arsenal target Alexis Sanchez for €40m and there might still be a chance that the Chilean winger will be used as part of the deal.
