via ArseRant: Arsenal 3 Genclerbirligi 0:

On Thursday we played our second friendly of the preseason against Genclerbirligi (I’m not even going to try and pronounce that) in a game that I missed. I’d been looking forward to it for most of the day actually but lost track of time reading a novel that I’d been looking out for for some time. I wouldn’t have minded so much had it been the Barnet game, a bit of a bore, really, but this was supposed to have been a fairly good Arsenal performance and if nothing else Eduardo and Sagna both made their non competitive debuts.

Rear Gunner also tells us:

  • Arsenal are not interested in signing Nicolas Anelka.
  • Carlos Vela is set to head out of Arsenal on a loan to Osasuna.
  • Lyon could take Reyes off Arsenal’s hands.
