England World Cup Kits – a brief history

As tonight’s headline match is getting ready to begin, I decided to take a look at the history of the England World Cup kit, what changes it has gone through, and which is the best, as well as which periods of time today’s kit draws inspiration from. The England – United States rivalry is older than the beautiful game, and while one nation invented it, the other is starting to rise and adopt it as one of its favorite sports. Pictured are the stars wearing the famous England kits, starting with Sir Bobby Moore, representing the 1960’s kit, the year England conquered the world and became World Champions.

I think the best england kit is the one from the 60’s. It’s simple, it’s professional, it’s England. Which one do you think is the best? And who do you think will win tonight?
