The transfer activity regarding Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos seems to get interesting with each passing day. Kroos’ agent Volker Struth has denied Marca’s reports that his client has agreed terms to join Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Struth claimed, “From our side, nothing has been clarified. The signing hasn’t been finalised. I’m sticking to my previous statement that nothing will be finalised until after the World Cup.”
Marca had earlier claimed that the German midfield maestro had agreed terms on €5m per season over five seasons to join the Los Blancos.
The recent developments will come as a welcome boost for Premier League giants Chelsea who had earlier cited that they are willing to fighting tooth and nail to acquire the services of the 24 year old.
The Stamford Bridge side are willing to offer the midfielder a staggering €8.5m-per-year deal to lure Kroos to London, the player who is also a Manchester Unitd target.
Chelsea had earlier signed Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona but it appears that manager Jose Mourinho wants to add yet another marquee name to his already impressive squad to mount a serious Premier League title challenge.
