Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer.
The Belgian has been on fire since joining the Toffees from Chelsea and is a target for several European heavyweights including his former club Chelsea.
The player’s father has fuelled further speculations about his future by claiming that he wants Lukaku to join Manchester United or Bayern Munich this summer and that his transfer should be sealed before the Euros begin (10th June).
It is understood that Everton value Lukaku at around 65 million pounds and considering his talent and age, that might be a good investment for the future.
Lukaku’s father ruled out a move to Serie A claiming that his son will struggle to cope with the tight Italian defences. He also claimed that a move to Bundesliga would be ideal for his son.
He said: “At the moment I think Manchester United or Bayern Munich are the most suitable for him, especially Bayern,” said Lukaku Sr.
“Every year they play at least in the semi-finals of the Champions League and the Bundesliga will suit him tremendously.”
The news will come as a major blow for Chelsea who were looking to sign the Everton duo of John Stones and Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The Blues are in desperate need of another striker other than Diego Costa and Lukaku would have been an ideal addition. The Belgian recently claimed that he will not rule out a move to Stamford Bridge and has unfinished business there.
