Since the spring of 2016, Paddy Twomey has a nine from 22 record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other trainers and backing all the qualifiers would have returned a profit of £16.09 to £1 level stakes at SP. HOLLY GOLIGHTLY won here for Ger Lyons last year before a fruitless spell in France and can make a winning start for her new handler.

RUMBLE OF THUNDER (system – Night Of Thunder, turf)
Progeny of the sire Night Of Thunder are profitable to back blind on turf, landing 114 of their 693 starts (16.5% strike-rate) for a tiny profit of £1.22 to a £1 level stake at SP. The fillies are 55 from 319 (17.2%) for a profit of £64.70. RUMBLE OF THUNDER was too free over 1m4f on her stable debut last time and looks a likely improver now cutting back in trip.

FORWARD PLAN (system – Anthony Honeyball, first run in a handicap hurdle)
Anthony Honeyball has a good record with his handicap hurdle debutants, scoring with 25 of the 96 qualifiers for a profit of £84.38 to a £1 level stake at SP. FORWARD PLAN has caught the eye on more than one occasion in maiden hurdles and looks very interesting now up in trip for his handicap debut.
