Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to Catterick where he has two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, August 2nd. Follow his tips on horse racing betting sites throughout the year.

CATTERICK 2.10
Juvenile progeny of the sire Kingman have a great record on their racecourse debuts when competing over 7f for further, landing 25 of their 103 starts for a profit of £73.53 to a £1 level stake at SP. The colts (19 from 63, +£83.45) out-perform the fillies (six from 40, -£9.92) and TANGO MAN can get the better of short-priced favourite KYEEMA in this 7f maiden. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back at 9-4 in the fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back TANGO MAN in Catterick 2.10
CATTERICK 2.45
MAYSON MOUNT finally got off the mark at the 17th attempt at Chepstow last month but is far from certain to follow up. That win came over a straight mile on good to firm ground and he now drops down in distance to 7f on soft going. His trainer, Adrian Wintle, has a great record at Bath and Chepstow, the only two tracks within 50 miles of his Gloucestershire base but when his winners from those two venues bid to follow up at different tracks they often disappoint (they’re 0-11 in the past five years). His stall 3 draw could also be a disadvantage, assuming they track over to the stands’ side in the straight and he can be sold at 14 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with pace angle SPARTAKOS, who looks well drawn in stall 10 of 11.
Recommendation: Oppose MAYSON MOUNT in Catterick 2.45
