Mark another one of this month’s big transfer news as done – Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri has completed his transfer move to Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri have beaten Liverpool’s challenge to sign the highly rated forward from Bayern Munich.

Reliable Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported early that Inter Milan were able to close the deal for a reported figure of €20m to sign the player permanently.

If the reports are to be believed Liverpool were heavily linked with the move for Shaqiri but the Reds have failed to land once again their top target.

According to Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter will sign him on loan for €2m for 6 months, and then Inter will have to pay €12m to Bayern Munich in June.
